Where to get it
Aether is on the App Store as one app for all five platforms: a single purchase record covers iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro and the Mac. The Mac version is distributed through the Mac App Store and TestFlight only. A public TestFlight beta stays open alongside the App Store release — new builds land there first. Both are linked from the download page.
Languages
The app is available in English, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Dutch, Turkish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Choose one in Settings ▸ Appearance ▸ Language.
What it costs
Aether is free to download, and no playback or library feature is behind a payment. If you want to support development there are one-time tips, and Supporter, available monthly, yearly or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Supporter adds:
- Smart Downloads — the next episodes of the shows on your Watchlist download automatically.
- More profiles — profiles 3 to 5 (two are free).
- Accent colors beyond Aether Blue, and the Pure Black background.
- Exclusive app icons (iPhone and iPad).
- What's This Song? — recognizing music playing in a film, manually and automatically. Without Supporter you see a sample.
- A Supporter badge.
Purchases are managed with Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription in the Supporter screen (Settings ▸ Help & About ▸ Support Aether).
Platform differences
Most features exist everywhere. The notable differences:
